What’s Cooking Today? 👩🏻‍🍳

I have never met any child (or adult!) that doesn’t like Chocolate Brownies. This American recipe is easy to make and delicious to taste. It lasts a while and keeps fresh for long, the problem is that everyone keeps on eating it!

Let’s make some Chocolate Brownies! 🍫

This is what you will need for this recipe: 🥣🥄

Ingredients 🥚🧈🍫

  • 250g Flour (2 Cups)

  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt

  • 125g Butter or Margarine (½ Cup)

  • 200g Light Brown Sugar (1 Cup)

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder

  • 100g Dairy or Parve Chocolate Chips (½ Cup)

Method 📖

1. Turn the oven on to 170°C (340°F).
2. Grease the foil container using a little margarine or butter.
3. In a medium-sized bowl, weigh and whisk together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
4. Weigh the butter or margarine into a saucepan and melt it. Remove from heat.
5. Using a wooden spoon, weigh and mix in the sugar, stirring until dissolved.
6. Crack and check the egg, then whisk it. Add the vanilla extract, then stir both into the saucepan.
7. Slowly add the flour mixture, stirring to incorporate it. The dough will be quite stiff.
8. Mix in the chocolate chips.
9. Scrape the mixture into the foil container. Use a spatula to smooth it out and press it into the corners.
10. Bake for 25 minutes.
11. Cool completely, then cut into squares.

Enjoy your delicious creation! 😊

Don’t Forget! 📌

To make your greasing of the tin easier, cut a small square of baking paper and use that to grease the container so that your fingers don’t get sticky. If you omit the cocoa powder, you can make Blondies instead.
